Top ten reasons why spiders don't make good pets.

10) OK I lied. There's only one reason.

Yeah, I found a black widow spider in my bathroom. Fun times, fun times.

I did actually keep a spider in a jar for a couple of weeks. I wanted to show it to a guy who "knows spiders" to see if it was a hobo.

It was not.

I used to have a pet tarantula when I was in the sixth grade. I'd carry it to class inside one of those little half pint milk cartons and leave it sitting on my desk througout the day - the teachers would have freaked but they thought it was just milk for my lunch. At noon I'd go out on the playground and let him out to roam. I used to laugh at the kids who would be all freaked out by my spider. I thought he was cool.

Bella--

You're much braver than I.

That having been said,
one time I let a tarantula walk across my palm in order to impress a boy.

But I was barely clinging by a thread to my sanity when I do it.

I know, I know-- lame---
